Abstract

Las composiciones de polietileno de densidad media bimodal incluyen un componente de polietileno de alto peso molecular (HMW) y un componente de polietileno de bajo peso molecular (LMW). La composición de polietileno de densidad media bimodal tiene una densidad de 0,937 a 0,946 g/cm³; un índice de fusión de carga alta (I₂₁) de 7 a 20 g/10 min; una intersección G=G de 30 a 50 kPa; un tiempo de falla de carga de tracción constante con muescas a un esfuerzo de fluencia de 30%, según se midió de acuerdo con ASTM ASTMD5397, de más de 700 horas; un módulo de endurecimiento por deformación de más de 65 MPa.
