Abstract

Se describe un aparato de conversion de energía undimotriz y su sistema de amarre por tension (50) asociado. El aparato de conversion de energía undimotriz (44) comprende una estructura de soporte alargada (45) disenada para proyectarse por encima de un nivel de agua promedio en el océano. La estructura de soporte (45) posee un elemento sumergido conectado a la misma por debajo del nivel de agua promedio. Un elemento de flotacion (48) de flotabilidad positiva se monta con capacidad de deslizamiento sobre la estructura de soporte (45) de modo que pueda desplazarse en una direccion vertical. El aparato (44) además comprende un generador eléctrico lineal (49) que posee un estator conectado a la estructura de soporte (34) y un rotor integrado al cuerpo del elemento de flotacion (48). El movimiento diferencial del elemento de flotacion (48) con relacion a la estructura de soporte (45) da como resultado la generacion de potencia eléctrica por parte del generador eléctrico lineal (49). El sistema de amarre por tension (50) comprende un cable (51) que se extiende desde un medio de lastre (52) hasta un medio de contrapeso (53) adaptado para suspenderse desde el elemento sumergido (46) mediante un mecanismo de polea (54). El sistema de amarre por tension (50) permite que el aparato (44) sea ôreguladoö a las condiciones imperantes en el océano.
