Abstract
Se describe un disco optico para grabar datos, cuyo disco tiene un área de grabacion subdividida en zonas anulares coaxiales comprendiendo pistascirculares o en forma de espiral. Cada pista dentro de una de las zonas está dispuesta para almacenaruna misma cantidad predeterminada de datos proporcional ala posicion radial, resultando en un promedio de densidad substancialmente constante, la así llamada densidad CLV (Velocidad Lineal Constante). Las pistascomprenden características periodicas,por ejemplo una fluctuacion, que se encuentran radialmente alineadas dentro de cada una de las zonas, las periodicidadsiendo indicativa de la densidad de grabacion de la pista para la pista concerniente. Por lo tanto la grabacion de datos yvelocidad de lectura puedensincronizarse a las características periodicas, mientras que se evita cualquier interferencia de las características periodicas de las pistas adyacentes.
