Abstract

Un servidor de verificación para ser utilizado en la autenticación de redes de computadoras, donde la autenticación de usuarios de red es llevada a cabo enforma más eficiente y fácil como sigue: el dato de autenticación enviado a partir de uncl iente de aplicación 20 es retransmitido a un servidorverificación 30 por el servidor de aplicación 10. El servidor de verificación 30 mantiene una base de datos de datos de autenticación válidos, contra loscuales verifica los datos deautenticación recibidos. El resultado de verificación es enviado al servidor de aplicación 10, el cual luego procesa losusuarios sobre la base de estos resultados. Como resultado de ésto, la configuración del servidor deaplicación 10 es simpli ficada. El servidor deverificación 30 puede ser utilizado por una pluralidad en servidores de aplicación 10, permitiendo el uso eficiente de los recursos de una red decomputadoras.
