Abstract

596441 A stated problem is to provide a biomass center air jet burner for power generation which satisfies requirements with respect to development of an effective and efficient alternative means replacing coal combustion and a means capable of spreading combustion of a carbon-neutral fuel in power generation applications. The solution: A burner throat 4 for passing air and fuel supplied to a burner assembly 1 and for discharging them into a furnace 3 is connected to the furnace 3. Core air 5 which is a part of secondary air 22 enters a core air duct 6, is adjusted by a core air damper 7, is continued via a core nozzle 8 through the burner assembly 1, and gets out of the core nozzle 8 via the burner throat 4. The secondary air 22 moves through an inner air zone 10 and an outer air zone 11, and is turned by a turning vane. In this way, ignition and combustion of the secondary air 22 which contacts a pulverized coal stream is facilitated. ;
