Abstract

588967 Disclosed is a container, protective shroud (9000), or packaging system made from a sheet of closed cell board which includes a planar surface (9001) and first and second liner sheets on either side of a core. Formed along at least one edge of the planar surface is/are: at least one u-shaped three sided channel formed from two parallel slits; and/or at least one sleeve (9002) formed from three or more parallel slits (9003). The slits are cut through the first liner sheet and core of the closed cell board but do not penetrate the second liner sheet. The slits are parallel to an edge of the sheet and the u-shaped channel(s) and/or said sleeve(s) have outside corner edges in the form of splits formed by folding along the parallel slits cut through the first liner sheet and core of the closed cell board.
