Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av et aggregat, omfattende blanding av forbrenningsovnbunnaske med et andre, silikoaluminiumoksidholdig materiale som har et lavere kalsiuminnhold enn forbrenningsovnbunnasken. Fremgangsmåten omfatter dessuten agglomerering av blandingen, så som ved pelletisering, og pyrobehandling av agglomeratene, så som ved sintring eller vitrifisering, til dannelse av aggregatet. Det andre materiale kan være leire, så som bentonitt eller kaolin, et avfall fra bergverksdrift, så som granittsagerester, eller avfallsglass eller ovnsbunnaske. Tilsetningen av det andre materiale har vist seg å forenkle fremstilling av aggregater av lett og normal vekt. Et plastisk bindemiddel, så som leire, kan også tilsettes til blandingen. Fortrinnsvis våtoppmales forbrenningsovnbunnasken eller blandingen av forbrenningsovnbunnaske og det andre materiale før agglomerering.
