Description
Anordning ved ildsteder for såkalt underforbrenning.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en anordning for oppnåelse av fullstendig forbrenning av brennbare, faste, organiske emner for utvinning av varme.
Ved forbrenning av særlig faste brensler er det meget viktig at samtlige i brenslet inngående emner hurtig får en meget høy temperatur, for en del av de brennbare emner forgasses hurtig uten å få tilstrekkelig antenningstemperatur, hvorav følger at disse fjernes fra ildherden uten å forbrenne. Dette siste er tilfelle ved nesten alle tid-ligere kjente anordninger for fyring, når det gjelder faste brensler.
Det har derfor lenge vært behov for en enkel forbrenningsanordning, hvori også hurtig forgassende, vanskelig brennbare emner får tilstrekkelig antenningstemperatur umiddelbart etter at de har forlatt ildherden.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår i størst mulig grad å eliminere de alminnelig kjente mangler.
Ved ildsteder av den omhandlede art er det kjent at ildstedet består av et ved sin nedre ende åpent brenselsmagasin som er omgitt av en yttermantel på slik måte at et etterforbrenningsrom dannes mellom magasinet og mantelen, videre at magasinets vegg eller vegger er forsynt med luftfordelingskammer for primær- og/eller sekundærluft, og at i det minste et luftfordelingskammer som er tilsluttet et luftinntak for primærluft, er forsynt med åpninger gjennom magasinets vegg, slik at primærluften ledes inn i brenselmassen.
Oppfinnelsen utmerker seg hovedsake-
lig ved at etterforbrenningsrommet gjennom et tilløp ved sin nedre del tilføres sekundærluft, enten fra en etterforbrenningsrommet omgivende, i begge ender åpen luftmantel eller fra noen av de i magasinets vegg beliggende luftfordelingskammere, som med en kanal får luft fra ildstedets omgivelse.
Ved primærluftens innførelse i et kammer som er anordnet rundt hele brensels-magasinet, fås en meget hurtig oppvarming av primærluften, hvilket er en stor fordel for oppnåelse av effektiv forbrenning. Da luftinntaksåpningene er anordnet gjennom magasinets vegg, kan den varme luft effek-tivt forvarme en stor del av brenslet før forbrenning skjer. Dette medfører at tempe-raturen i ildherden blir meget høy, hvilket letter den etterstrebede spaltning (krack-ing).
Anordningen består med andre ord av et i sin nedre ende åpent sylindrisk eller pilarformet brenselsmagasin, hvis langs-gående vegg eller vegger omgis av et eller flere luftfordelingskammere, hvorav i det minste et, som er forbundet med et luftinntak for primærluft er forsynt med åpninger gjennom magasinets vegg, samt at magasinet og kamrene omgis av en til en evakueringskanal forbundet spalte, som ved sin nedre del er anordnet med åpninger for tilførsel av sekundærluft, enten fra en i begge ender åpen ytterspalte som omgir spalten, eller fra noen av kamrene som omgir magasinet og som er forbundet med luf-ten omkring anordningen.
To utførelsesformer for anordningen •ifølge oppfinnelsen skal beskrives nærmere nedenfor i tilslutning til tegningene, hvor fig. 1 viser et lengdesnitt sett forfra gjennom anordningen ifølge den ene utførelses-form, mens fig. 2 viser samme sett fra siden.
Fig. 3 viser et lengdesnitt gjennom anordningen ifølge den annen utførelsesform.
Med 1 betegnes det sylindrisk formede brenselsmagasin som ved sin overkant er forsynt med et løstagbart lokk 2, hvilket er anbragt i en kokeplate 3. Med et spjeld 4 anbragt i en kanal 5 er primærluft anordnet for regulerbart å tilføres fordelings-kammere 6, som omgir magasinet 1 og hvis innerside er konsentrisk formet og som ved sin nedre del er forsynt med til magasinets 1 nedre del gående hull 7. Rundt magasinet 1 er anordnet en spalte eller etterforbrenningsrom 8, som ved sin nedre ende er åpent og ved sin øvre del forsynt med en skjerm 9 for fordeling av varme. Denne spalte 8 er også ved sin øvre ende anordnet med en evakueringskanal 10, som kan forbindes med en skorstenspipe. Under spalten 8 og magasinet 1 er der anordnet en rist 11 som i tverrsnitt er bølgeformet. Yttersiden av spalten 8 er forsynt med hull 12 for inntak av sekundærluft til denne. Rundt spalten 8 er der anordnet en i be-ge ender åpen, ytre luftmantel 13, hvori sekundærluft inntas nedenfra, og hvorav en del oppvarmet luft forlater denne ved dens øvre ende. Under risten 11 er der anordnet en uttrekkbar askeskuff 14.
Ved anordningen ifølge den annen ut-førelsesform angis et sylindrisk brenselsmagasin med 15, som oventil er anordnet med et løstagbart lokk 16, hvilket er inn-lagt i en kokeplate 17. Et stykke fra magasinets 15 nedre ende er anordnet en rist 18 hvilken er forbundet med en rundt magasinet 15 gående spalte eller etterforbrenningsrom 19. Yttersiden av magasinet 15 er ved midten forsynt med en ringformet forhøyning 20 som utgjør skilleveggen mellom to luftfordelingskammere, som omgir magasinet 15. Fordelingskamrene begren-ses på yttersiden av en vegg 21 som er fast forbundet med over- og underkanten av magasinets 15 vegg. Til det øvre fordelings-kammer 27 er forbundet en kanal 22 bestemt for tilførsel av primærluft og til det nedre kammer 28 er tilsluttet ytterligere en kanal 23 bestemt for tilførsel av sekundærluft. Gjennom magasinets 15 vegg til det pvre kammer er der åpne hull 24, hvori-gjennom primærluften trenger inn i magasinet 15. Det nedre kammer er i sin ytter-vegg 21 forsynt med hull 25, hvilke mun-ner ut i spalten 19. Disse hull 25 tjener til utstrømning av sekundærluft i spalten 19, som ved sin øvre del er forsynt med en evakueringskanal 26 som kan forbindes med en skorstenspipe eller lignende.
Pilene på figurene angir luftens og
gassenes strømretninger.
Prinsipielt fungerer anordningen ifølge begge utførelsesformer på samme måte, omenn konstruksjonene i visse henseender skiller seg fra hverandre.
Ifølge den første utførelsesform som vises på fig. 1 og 2, innlegges først en del meget lett antennelig brensel som deretter tennes. Deretter påfylles faste brensel-stoffer som kull, ved eller torv, hvilke ved risten danner en glohaug som på grunn av svak oksygentilførsel ikke brenner med flamme. I brenselmassen oppstår derved et undertrykk på grunn av at spalten er forbundet med skorstenspipe. Derved tvinges primærluft inn i fordelingskammeret og ut gjennom hullene til magasinet. Primærluften som strømmer gjennom glørne, bringer derved med seg de frigjorte gasser og vanndampen, som således tvinges gjennom glohaugen. På grunn av den sterke hete i glørne som oppstår på grunn av oksygentilførselen i primærluften, spaltes de vanskelig antennelige gasser til hurtig brennbare gasser og vanndampen spaltes til oksygen- og hydrogengass.
Disse gasser initialtennes umiddelbart ved glohaugens overside i spalten hvor glørne danner en rasvinkel på ca. 40°. Ved tilførsel av sekundærluft fra hullene i spal-tens ytterside forbrennes de brennbare gasser og utvikler derved sterk varme, som opptas av alle til spalten forbundne vegger, skjerm og kokeplate, slik at bare en ubetydelig del medbringes gjennom evakueringskanalen. Den utviklede varme bidrar derved til forvarming av primærluften i fordelingskammeret og tilførselskanalen. Ved at den såkalte ytterspalte 13 er åpen såvel nedentil som oventil, strømmer den koldere sekundærluft inn nedentil, hvorved en del av denne oppvarmes og blir let-tere og strømmer ut ved den øvre åpning. Derved oppstår en luftsirkulasjon i det rom anordningen er plasert i. Dette medfører hurtigere og jevnere oppvarming av rom-met, hvilket er en meget stor fordel. På grunn av den fullstendige forbrenning blir anordningen særlig økonomisk i drift og ved evakueringskanalen dannes der ingen synlig røk, hvilket også er en fordel når anordningen anvendes for militære formål.
Ifølge den annen utførelsesform, som vises på fig. 3, innføres primærluften i et
kammer som er plasert rundt magasinet
ved dets øvre del, hvorved denne på lignende måte som ifølge den forrige utførelses-form, bringes ned gjennom glørhaugen og
ut i den omgivende spalte, hvor også gas-sene antennes og forbrennes på samme
måte med samme virkning. Sekundærluf-ten innføres derimot i et kammer rundt
magasinets nedre del og bringes ut gjennom
hull til spalten. Derved er det mulig å opp-nå en meget høy temperatur for den luft
som strømmer ut i spalten. Dette er na-turligvis en fordel som i høy grad letter
forbrenningen i spalten. Denne konstruk-sjon er særlig hensiktsmessig å bruke som
komplement til såkalte AGA-ovner i hensikt å øke deres virkningsgrad.
Claims (3)
1. Anordning ved ildsteder for såkalt
underforbrenning, hvor ildstedet består av et ved sin nedre ende åpent brenselsmagasin som er omgitt av en yttermantel på slik måte at et etterforbrenningsrom dannes mellom magasinet og mantelen, og hvor magasinets vegg eller vegger er forsynt med luftfordelingskammer for primær- og/
eller sekundærluft, idet i det minste et luftfordelingskammer (6, 27) som er tilsluttet et luftinntak (5, 22) for primærluft, er forsynt med åpninger (7, 24) gjennom magasinets (1, 15) vegg, slik at primærluften ledes inn i brenselmassen karakterisert ved at etterforbrenningsrommet (8, 19) gjennom et tilløp (12, 25) ved sin nedre del til-føres sekundærluft, enten fra en etterforbrenningsrommet (8) omgivende, i begge ender åpen luftmantel (13) eller fra noen av de i magasinets (15) vegg beliggende luftfordelingskammere (27, 28), som med en kanal (23) får luft fra ildstedets omgivelse.
2. Anordning ifølge påstand 1, karakterisert ved at luftfordelingskamrene (6, 27, 28) hvert danner et rundt brenselmaga-sinet (1, 15) gående kammer.
3. Anordning ifølge påstand 1, karakterisert ved at etterforbrenningskammeret (8) ved sin øvre del er forsynt med en for-delingsskjerm (9) for fordeling av varmen, i hensikt at skjermen ved ledning skal sprede varmen jevnt til en kokeplate.
