Abstract

The covering for walls etc. comprises a carrier (1) in a flexible material to which parallel strips (2) are secured at a relative distance sufficient to maintain the flexibility of the carrier. The carrier may be in any shape and may have any desired length and width but is pref. in the form of a strip of paper, fabric, plastic etc. which may be rolled up, or it may be in the form of a tile. The strips may be in wood, veneer, plastic, metal etc. and may be secured to the carrier by adhesive, rivets or snap-in elements integral with the carrier.
