Abstract

The equipment recovers heat energy in the mechanical ventilation system of a house etc. having a central heating system with forced draught. The fume discharge (12) from the heater unit is connected to the ventilation air outlet (1), and the fresh air supply (9) for ventilation air discharge and smoke chimney. The heat exchanger can be formed by an annular space outside the combined discharge pipe (6), fins or other components (11) being mounted in this space to assist in heat transfer. The ventilation air discharge pipe can be connected to the heat exchange by a bend (13), to which the chimney is connected.
