Abstract

The conveyor belt comprises a series of links running over a supporting surface. To drive the iteems transported, they are engaged by some of the links (2) which are higher than the others (1). A series of higher links can be fitted one behind the other, and the higher links can be chamfered or radiused along their leading edges. The higher links can be interchangeable with the lower ones, and there can be more than one belt, with a stationary supporting surface between adjacent ones. The higher links in each of the belts are in line with each other.
