Abstract

A HEADCAP OF AN ARMHEAD OF A WIPERARM OF A WINDSHIELD WIPER FOR COVERING A NUT WHICH SECURES THE ARMHEAD TO A WIPER SHAFT. THE HEADCAP COMPRISES A MAIN BODY PORTION FOR COVERING AT LEAST THE UPPER SURFACE OF THE NUT, A SKIRT PORTION EXTENDING DOWNWARD AND INTEGRALLY FROM THE MAINBODY PORTION, AND A PROJECTING PORTION HAVING PARALLEL SIDE WALLS AND EXTENDING INTEGRALLY FROM THE MAIN BODY PORTION IN THE RADIALLY OUTWARD DIRECTION. AN OPENING IS FORMED IN THE ARMHEAD FOR RECEIVING THE PROJECTING PORTION OF THE HEADCAP. FURTHER, THERE ARE PROVIDED MUTUALLY ENGAGEABLE ENGAGING PORTIONS RESPECTIVELY ON THE SKIRT PORTION OF THE HEADCAP AND ON A SIDE WALL OF THE ARMHEAD, WITH AT LEAST ONE ENGAGING PORTION BEING DEFORMABLE RESILIENTLY.
