THE COATED VITAMIN C PREPARATION IS PRODUCED BY A PROCESS, WHICH COMPRISES A STEP OF BRINGING PARTICLE OF A PARTICULATE CORE SUBSTANCE HAVING A CONTENT OF VITAMIN C INTO CONTACT COLLIDINGLY WITH PARTICLE OF A COATING MATERIAL COMPOSED OF ONE OR MORE FINE POWDERY LIPIDS HAVING A MELTING POINT OF AT LEAST 40 ?C AND A CONTENT OF VITAMIN E, SO AS TO FORM A COATING LAYER OF AGGLOMERATED PARTICLES OF THE COATING MATERIAL SURROUNDING THE ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE OF EACH PARTICLE OF THE CORE SUBSTANCE. THE COATED VITAMIN C PREPARATION IS USEFUL AS A SUPPLEMENT TO FEEDS FOR ANIMALS, SUCH AS, LIVESTOCK, POULTRY AND MARINE ANIMALS, BY ADMIXING AS SUCH TO THE FEED.
