Abstract
La invencion propone un proceso para la lixiviacion oxidativa de un metal o compuesto metalico obtenido de un material que contenga el metal o compuesto metalico, el cual consiste en por lo menos un paso de produccion de acido y por lo menos un paso de consumo del acido, y en donde el acido procedente del paso de produccion de acido se hace disponible, por lo menos en parte, para el paso de consumo de acido. El proceso tambien puede incluir el uso de un agente intermediario soluble para transferir el poder oxidante al material que se va a lixiviar, el agente intermediario de preferencia consiste en hierro o cloruro.
