Abstract
Un aparato y metodo de codificacion entre cuadros de datos del dominio de frecuencia digitales. Los datos comprenden una pluralidad de secciones cada una de las cuales tienen una pluralidad de bloques, Cada bloque tiene un componente de DC y una pluralidad de componentes de AC. Es codificado un primer valor del componente de DC de cada seccion. Cada valor del componente de DC subsecuente de cada seccion es representado como la diferencia entre este y el valor del componente de DC que lo precede. Para la codificacion sin perdidas, el valor del componente de DC inicial de cada seccion y las diferencias son codificadas usando Golomb-Rice.
