Abstract

Un metodo y un recipiente para almacenar o transportar articulos en particular productos alimenticios en un estado congelado y/o frio, incluyen un espacio acondicionado en donde se colocan los articulos. El espacio esta acondicionado por medio de un medio refrigerante, por ejemplo dioxido de carbono solido, colocado por encima del espacio, el medio refrigerante y el espacio estan divididas por un panel aislante. Una variedad de paneles aislantes pueden proporcionarse entre el medio refrigerante y el espacio para mantener una cantidad requerida de transferencia de frio entre el refrigerante y el espacio. La cantidad de medio refrigerante puede modificarse de acuerdo con las especificaciones tales como la duracion asumida del transporte/almacenamiento, la temperatura de almacenamiento requerida y la temperatura ambiente promedio prevista.
