Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de cómputo, sistema y método para calcular una firma de campo alejado de una fuente sísmica vibradora. El método incluye determinar una aceleración absoluta de un pistón de la fuente sísmica vibradora, mientras la fuente sísmica vibradora genera una onda sísmica; calcular, basándose en la aceleración absoluta del pistón, una forma de onda de campo alejado de la fuente sísmica vibradora a un punto dado (O) lejos de la fuente sísmica vibradora; y correlacionar de manera cruzada la forma de onda de campo alejado con una señal piloto de dirección de la fuente sísmica vibradora para determinar la firma de campo alejado de la fuente sísmica vibradora.
