Abstract
Un método para determinar la posición angular de un rodillo, que incluye: (a) detectar las señales generadas por un acelerómetro unido a un extremo de un rodillo giratorio; (b) determinar si una señal generada en el paso (a) ha llegado a un límite pre-disparo, y repetir el paso (a) si la señal no ha alcanzado el límite pre-disparo; (c) si en el paso (b) se determina que la señal ha alcanzado el límite pre-disparo, detectar una señal posterior generada por el acelerómetro; (d) determinar si la señal detectada en el paso (c) ha llegado al límite pre-disparo, y repetir el paso (c) si la señal no ha alcanzado el límite de disparo; y (e) si la señal sí llegó al límite de disparo, establecer la posición angular del rodillo con base en la señal que ha alcanzado el límite de disparo.
