Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una guarda para ventilador para un aparato de aire acondicionado que comprende un gabinete que tiene aberturas a través de las cuales puede fluir aire hacia el espacio interior de dicho gabinete para transferir calor entre dicho aire y un fluido que circula a través de una tubería localizada dentro de dicho gabinete, donde dicho flujo de aire es inducido por medio de un motor que mueve un ventilador que induce el aire hacia una salida de dicho gabinete y donde dicha guarda está adaptada para fijarse a dicho gabinete sobre dicha salida estando dicho motor con ventilador soportado por dicha guarda; caracterizada por que dicha guarda comprende una pluralidad de primeros elementos alargados que convergen radialmente hacia la porción central de dicha guarda teniendo en cada uno de sus extremos externos con respecto a dicha porción central un orificio periférico para unir la guarda a dicho gabinete; una pluralidad de segundos elementos alargados que convergen radialmente hacia dicha porción central de dicha guarda teniendo en cada uno de sus extremos internos, más próximos a dicha porción central un orificio interno para unir dicho motor a dicha guarda; una pluralidad de elementos de barrera conformados como espiras estrechamente cercanas entre sí unidos a por lo menos dichos primeros y segundos elementos para formar dicha guarda; un tercer elemento alargado que se extiende radialmente a todo lo largo de dicha guarda que tiene en cada uno de sus extremos un orificio para unir la guarda a dicho gabinete, y un elemento central con forma de anillo unido a dichos primeros y segundos elementos y localizado de manera próxima a dicha porción central de dicha guarda y dichos orificios interiores para proporcionar resistencia mecánica a la guarda para cuando dicho motor está unido a dicha guarda.
