Abstract
En una modalidad, un método incluye recolectar, mediante un dispositivo de navegación magnética, mediciones magnéticas de una región geográfica particular de acuerdo con una posición y trayectoria del dispositivo de navegación magnética; acceder a un estado de señal de sistema de satélite de navegación global (GNSS) y un estado de conexión de red en el dispositivo de navegación magnética; determinar un modo operativo para el dispositivo de navegación magnética con base en el estado de señal de GNSS y el estado de conexión de red; determinar si transmitir las mediciones magnéticas a un servidor o almacenar las mediciones magnéticas localmente en el dispositivo de navegación magnética con base en el modo operativo; y realizar operaciones de navegación o localización usando el modo operativo.
