Abstract
Se proporciona un método para codificar o decodificar una imagen de una secuencia de video. El método comprende obtener un conjunto de valores de muestra asociados con la imagen. El método comprende determinar una ubicación relativa del valor de muestra actual con respecto a un límite virtual. El límite virtual se define con respecto a un límite de bloque entre el primer bloque de valores de muestra y un segundo bloque de valores de muestra. El límite virtual es paralelo al límite del bloque y está separado del límite del bloque por al menos una fila o columna de valores de muestra incluidos en el primer bloque de valores de muestra. El método comprende un valor de fuerza de filtro con base en la ubicación relativa determinada del valor de muestra actual con respecto al límite virtual. El método comprende filtrar el valor actual de la muestra basándose en el valor de fuerza de filtro seleccionado.
