Abstract

The invention relates to a microbial consortium for foliar application, which acts as a biofertiliser and as a biological control agent, said microbial consortium being formed by species from eight different genera of bacteria and fungi: Bacillus spp., Pseudomonas spp., Streptomyces spp., Azotobacter spp., Azospirillum spp., Beijerinckia spp., Trichoderma spp. and Aspergillus spp, all of which are predominant in the phyllosphere, wherein said species act as growth promoters in plants. The formulation containing the consortium is formed by soluble organic compounds that act as nutritional supplements for the plant and help the species of the consortium to survive on the surface of the phyllosphere.
