Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método de recubrimiento para recubrir componentes, en particular para recubrir componentes de carrocería de vehículos de motor en una instalación de pintado. El método de recubrimiento de acuerdo con la invención comprende los siguientes pasos: mover un dispositivo de aplicación sobre una superficie de componente que se va a recubrir a lo largo de una trayectoria de recubrimiento (1) predeterminada, y aplicar un chorro del medio de recubrimiento sobre la superficie de componente por medio de un dispositivo de aplicación. El chorro del medio de recubrimiento en este caso se aplica mientras el dispositivo de aplicación se mueve sobre la superficie de componente. Además, el chorro del medio de recubrimiento no es rotacionalmente simétrico con relación a su eje de chorro y por lo tanto genera sobre la superficie de componente un patrón de pulverización (2) alargado con una dirección longitudinal (7) particular. La invención proporciona adicionalmente los siguientes pasos: rotación del dispositivo de aplicación en torno al eje de chorro con relación a la trayectoria de recubrimiento (1) durante el movimiento del dispositivo de aplicación de tal manera que la posición angular (a) de la dirección longitudinal (7) del patrón de pulverización (2) con relación a la dirección transversal de trayectoria (12) cambie a lo largo de la trayectoria de recubrimiento (1).
