Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso para producir ajoeno a partir de la alicina a través de un sustrato polimérico, que comprende los pasos de calentar alicina o una solución de alicina en un intervalo de temperatura predeterminado de manera que por lo menos una porción de la alicina se convierte en ajoeno para formar una solución de ajoeno; y separar el ajoeno de la solución de ajoeno; en donde por lo menos uno de los pasos de calentar o separar se lleva a cabo a través de un sustrato polimérico. El proceso para producir ajoeno a partir de la alicina a través de un sustrato polimérico además comprende un paso de retener la alicina o la solución de alicina sobre el sustrato polimérico antes de que se lleve a cabo el paso de calentar dentro o fuera del sustrato polimérico. La presente invención también se relaciona con un ajoeno o una composición que comprende ajoeno obtenida por el proceso de la misma.
