Abstract
Un método 100 para desacoplar una batería 12 durante el arranque de alta corriente de un motor, que comprende cargar un banco supercapacitor 18 con un voltaje de supercapacitor de CC preseleccionado desde una batería, cuando dicha batería está arriba de un voltaje de batería preseleccionado, conmutar el banco supercapacitor a una carga 30 y conmutar la batería fuera de la carga, encender el motor y suministrar el voltaje y la corriente iniciales hasta que el voltaje terminal del supercapacitor sea igual al voltaje terminal de la batería, conmutar la batería en paralelo con el supercapacitor, desconectar el supercapacitor de la carga, y recargar el supercapacitor con el voltaje de capacitor de CC preseleccionado.
