Abstract
Se describen técnicas para controlar la transmisión de paquetes o múltiples enlaces. En un diseño, un transmisor puede generar paquetes de datos para un receptor, asignar los paquetes con números de secuencias de un solo espacio de número de secuencia, desmultiplexar los paquetes en múltiples corrientes para múltiples enlaces, y enviar cada corriente de paquetes del enlace asociado con el receptor. El receptor puede recibir algunos paquetes por error, y los paquetes recibidos correctamente pueden estar fuera de servicio. En un diseño, el receptor puede mantener el número de secuencia más grande de los paquetes recibos correctamente para cada enlace. Después de detectar por lo menos un paquete faltante, el receptor puede enviar información de estado que transporta los paquetes faltantes y los números de secuencias más grandes para todos los enlaces con el transmisor. El transmisor puede utilizar los números de secuencias más grandes para todos los enlaces y su mapeo de paquete a enlace para determinar si reenviar rápidamente cada paquete faltante o esperar.
