Abstract
Se describe un proceso para el tratamiento de fluido contaminado y agua de desecho que contiene residuos procedentes de operaciones de procesamiento de alimentos y desechos y residuos provenientes de operaciones de alimentación de animales y el efluente procedente de la digestión de estos residuos. El proceso se desarrolla en un tanque cerrado que utiliza un procedimiento de separación que mantiene el estado de los sólidos separados en el mismo estado en el que ellos estaban a la introducción dentro del sistema, esto es, aeróbico, anaeróbico o anóxico, sobre la base de la condición de los sólidos a la introducción al sistema. El sistema utiliza flujo rotatorio en lugar de rastrillos para recolectar los sólidos del efluente. El proceso tiene aplicación en la recuperación de la emulsión en el tratamiento de aguas residuales y la operación de digestores para realimentación a los digestores.
