Abstract

Se describe una composición de recubrimiento la cual permite formar una capa de recubrimiento duro que tiene excelente transparencia y resistencia a la abrasión sobre la superficie de una base óptica como una lente de plástico con alta adhesión. Específicamente se describe una composición de recubrimiento compuesta de una partícula fina de sílice (a) que tiene un tamaño de partícula de no más de 30 nm, un componente compuesto de organosilícico (b) que contiene un compuesto de organosilícico que contiene el grupo epoxi (b1) y un tetraalcoxisilano (b2) a una relación en masa (b1/b2) de 0.25-4.0, agua (c) y un catalizador de curado (d) compuesto de un complejo que tiene aluminio como el metal central. Esta composición de recubrimiento contiene 15-55 partes en masa de la partícula fina de sílice (a), 30-200 partes en masa de agua (c) y 0.1-5.0 partes en masa del catalizador de curado (d) cuando el total de la partícula fina de sílice (a) y el componente compuesto de organosilícico (b) es tomado como 100 partes en masa.
