Description
HAIR BRUSH
FIELD OF THE INVENTION Object of the Invention The present invention relates to a hairbrush, of the type used for straightening and molding the hair and comprising: a handle, a perforated tubular body, through which they emerge at the outside fibers fixed helically to a support core, and a front cap that closes the front end of said tubular body. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Nowadays, it is common to use brushes for combing and molding hair, both in the domestic sphere and in hairdressing salons and aesthetic centers. An example of brushes widely used in hairdressing salons are those formed by a perforated hollow tubular body having, at one end, a handle for its grip and, at the opposite end, a closure cap, being housed inside said tubular body a bundle of helically arranged fibers that protrude through the holes of said tubular body. This type of brushes allows the molding and treatment of hair while heat is applied. In these brushes the tubular body is made of aluminum coated or not ceramic, which allows the accumulation and transmission of calories supplied by an external source of heat, usually by a dryer. When the tubular body is covered with ceramic it behaves accumulating calories for a longer time, but transmits the heat less quickly and efficiently. Another drawback of this type of known brushes is that the products applied to the hair are adhered on the tubular body, preventing a smooth and uniform sliding of the hair on said tubular body. Still another drawback of this type of known brushes, is that the fibers emerging through the holes of the tubular body are not arranged perpendicularly with respect to the surface thereof, because said holes are generally circular, but mostly they remain with slight inclinations, which prevents the smooth sliding of the hair on the brush and that the hair contacts effectively with the surface of the tubular body, remarkably reducing the effectiveness of the brush, especially during the smoothing and molding operations. In these brushes, the holes of the tubular body are generally obtained by punching a flat sheet and during this operation, burrs oriented towards one of the faces of said sheet are formed in the outline of the holes. The existence of these burrs constitutes a major problem during the assembly of the different forming elements of the brush or during the use thereof, since in the case that the burrs are oriented towards the inside of the tubular body, they constitute retaining means that they hinder the access of the fibers to the orifices of the body and their exit to the outside, and in the event that the burrs are oriented towards the outside of the tubular body, they define a toothing or cutting edge that can damage the cuticle of the hair. If it is desired that the burrs be oriented towards a specific side of the tubular body, the flat perforated plates that will form the tubular bodies of the brushes, must be placed in a certain position, so that the burrs are oriented on all the plates towards a same side, slowing down this operation the manufacturing process. Description of the Invention The hairbrush of this invention has a series of technical characteristics that allow a more effective and optimized use thereof, also providing greater durability. According to the invention, the brush comprises a perforated tubular body of aluminum covered externally with an artificial plastic material with non-stick properties, with a high capacity for the transmission of heat and resistant to chemical and physical agents, said polytetrafluoroethylene material being treated, also known commercially as TeflonĀ®. Since aluminum is a very good thermal conductor, a homogeneous distribution of the heat applied by a dryer or similar is achieved. In addition, the polytetrafluoroethylene coating involves prolonging the transfer time of the applied heat, and provides adequate protection against the deterioration of the brush by the action of the components of the products applied to the hair, notably increasing the useful life of the hair. brush. Finally, due to the non-stick nature of the coating material, the smooth sliding of the hair on the brush is guaranteed, avoiding jerks, and the cuticle of the hair is closed, obtaining as a result that the hair is brighter and reinforced. than with the use of conventional brushes.
According to the invention, the holes defined in the tubular body, through which the fibers of the brush emerge, have a polygonal shape, particularly a rhombus, and are arranged in a staggered pattern to allow a better passage of the fibers towards the outside. during the assembly of the brush. This feature also contributes to the fact that said fibers are substantially perpendicular to the surface of the tubular body, obtaining a better brushing. In order to facilitate more the exit of the fibers through the holes of the tubular body, during the assembly of the brush, this brush has specific characteristics, being of note: on the one hand, that the holes are arranged forming oblique alignments with respect to the longitudinal axis of the brush, the separation between said polygonal holes being equal to or less than 2 millimeters, with which, in addition, the weight of the brush is reduced making it more manageable and on the other hand, that the edges defined by the holes in the inner surfaces and outside of the tubular body are chamfered. The inner chamfers favor the introduction of the fibers in the holes and their exit to the outside of the tubular body, while the outer chamfers prevent the existence on the outer surface of the tubular body of sharp edges that can damage the cuticle of the hair. The fibers of the brush are formed by nylon fibers ionized by radiation, which provides them with greater strength and resistance during their use, due to the alteration that occurs during the ionization of their molecular structure. The use of these ionized nylon fibers favors the sliding of the hair between the fibers of the brush, avoiding the accumulation of static electricity in the hair and, consequently, the undesirable effects that such accumulation entails. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES In order to complement the description that is being made and in order to facilitate the understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of drawings in which, with an illustrative and non-limiting character, is attached to the present specification is attached. has represented the following: - Figure 1 shows an elevational view of the brush longitudinally sectioned by a vertical plane - Figure 2 shows a view in flat development of the perforated aluminum plate from which the tubular body of the brush is formed . - Figure 3 shows a cross section of the brush by an area coincident with the tubular body. - Figure 4 shows a perspective detail of the external chamfering of the holes of the tubular body. - - Figure 5 shows a cross section of one of the holes of the tubular body, allowing the observation of the inner and outer chamfers of said hole. Detailed Description of the Invention As can be seen in the figures referenced, the brush is constituted by a handle (1) coupled by a mouthpiece to a hollow tubular body (2) with the perforated surface, the opposite end of said tubular body being closed. (2) with a plug (3) and a core (4) on which a bundle of fibers (41) arranged helically is mounted inside. The fibers (41) protrude through the holes (21) of the tubular body (2), said fibers (41) being constituted by ionized nylon fibers by radiation. The tubular body (2) is constituted from a sheet or sheet of aluminum coated externally with polytetrafluoroethylene. The holes (21) have a diamond shape and are arranged in a staggered pattern, forming oblique alignments with respect to the longitudinal axis of the brush and with a hole spacing equal to or less than 2 millimeters. As can be seen in figures 4 and 5, the edges defined by the holes (21) in the inner and outer surfaces of the tubular body (2) are chamfered, finishing said holes (21) in chamfers (21a and 21b) respectively. The inner chamfers (21a) favor the access of the fibers (41) to the holes (21) during the assembly of the brush and its exit to the outside, while the outer chamfers (21b) prevent the definition on the outer surface of the tubular body (2) of sharp edges that could damage the hair cuticle. Once the nature of the invention has been sufficiently described, as well as a preferred embodiment thereof, it is recorded for the appropriate purposes that the materials, shape, size and arrangement of the elements described can be modified, provided that- does not suppose an alteration of the essential characteristics of the invention that are claimed below.
