Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a process for growing tobacco plants, and may be used to increase their resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, tomato bronzetop virus and potato Y-virus.The process, according to the invention, comprises soaking of tobacco seeds before sowing for 24 hours and extraroot treatment of seedlings in the ear formation phase with 0.01…0.1% aqueous solution of glycosides derived from Verbascum phlomoides L. plant by boiling extraction with water-methanol solution.
