Abstract

The invention relates to a process for water treatment of ground and surface waters, the purpose of which is to remove traces of chlorine, arsenic, aluminum, iron and other heavy metals, as well as microbiological agents for obtaining drinking water with high organoleptic properties.The process, according to the invention, comprises the steps of: preliminary chlorination, coagulation-flocculation, rapid filtration through layers of hydroanthracite and quartz sand, subsequent chlorination, filtration on activated carbon, final disinfection, afterwards is carried out the final filtration on ceramic granules in the form of four granulometric grades, obtained from brickbats by crushing-grinding, sieving, washing with deionized water and drying. The ceramic granules are stacked in layers, with gradual increase in the size of granules from surface to base.
