Abstract
The invention relates to a process for thermochemical machining of metal articles and can be used in mechanical engineering and instrument engineering for improving the corrosion resistance of machine parts, tools and production tooling.The process includes the anode heating of the article in an aqueous electrolyte solution, containing, g/L: NH4Cl 60...100, NH4NO3 40...60, NaNO2 8...15, Co(NH2)2 10...15, for 3...5 minutes at the current voltage of 150...200 V and the density of 1.0...2.5 A/cm2 with subsequent quenching of the article in the same electrolyte after switching off the current.
