Abstract

This chapter is described in the introduction to this edited collection as providing: "a critically informed rationale for some of the various analytical techniques that can be employed by researchers investigating scientists’ (and other practitioners) participation in science outreach and public engagement activities. This chapter is enriched by setting these techniques within the context of a current action research project, ensuring the outputs of the research inform future practice."
