Robert Andrew Blust (9 Mei 1940 – 5 Januari 2022[1][2][3]) adalah seorang pengkaji bahasa terkemuka menyentuh beberapa bidang, termasuk linguistik sejarah, leksikografi dan etnologi. Beliau mengkhusus dalam penyelidikan dan pengkajian bahasa-bahasa Austronesia di Universiti Hawaii di Manoa secara terus memberikan sumbangan besar dalam pengetahuan mengenai alam bahasa ini.

Robert Andrew Blust lahir pada 9 Mei 1940 di Cincinnati, Ohio, Amerika Syarikat. Beliau berpindah ke Long Beach, California ketika berumur empat tahun.[4] Beliau melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang bahasa Inggeris.[5]

Beliau meninggal dunia pada 5 Januari 2022 akibat sakit barah.[6]
