DOIs are represented in UPPERCASE
editHi @MartinGala:, I noticed that you edited A new species of Separatoppia Mahunka, 1983 (Acari, Oribatida, Oppiidae) from India (Q104458497) by making the DOI lowercase. I reverted this back to the original UPPERCASE. This makes DOIs look rather ugly, but the convention on Wikidata is for DOIs to be UPPERCASE. If everyone follows this convention it makes it easier to query Wikidata for whether an item exists for a given DOI. Hope this makes sense. --Rdmpage (talk) 07:58, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hello @Rdmpage: Thank you very much for correcting it. I deleted all the DOI item by mistake and then I copied and pasted the one that was posted with the journal; I didn't realize it was in a different format. Thanks for warning me about the uppercase format, I'll keep that in mind going forward. Happy New Year. --MartinGala (talk) 20:35, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- @MartinGala: You're welcome, I'm just delighted that items I've added are being edited and improved upon. Happy New Year to you too. --Rdmpage (talk) 12:28, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Empty items
editHi Martin,
do you know anything about Lin Mu (Q110967397) and Rui Lin (Q110967398) like the sex, birthdate, etc.? Oure Ladye (talk) 19:59, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @Oure_Ladye:
- I haven't been on wikidata much lately so sorry for the delay. I have completed Lin Mu's data with her ResearchGate profile. Thanks for the warning. MartinGala (talk) 13:50, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
