General ID
editNationalmuseum uses this identifier as a general ID, not specifically for artists but also for manufacturers, book publishers, etc. Because of this I have removed most of the constraints. /ℇsquilo 09:22, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- And now the labels (in English and Swedish) are finally updated, after talking with User:Karin Glasemann, Nationalmuseum about how much it was needed ;) --Alicia Fagerving (WMSE) (talk) 14:05, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- I changed it from "actor" to "artist", maybe it is time to change it to something more generic if it is used for studios. --RAN (talk) 07:21, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
- I'm reverting your change the identifier is not only for artists per op. "Nationalmuseum uses this identifier as a general ID, not specifically for artists but also for manufacturers, book publishers" Abbe98 (talk) 13:04, 11 November 2021 (UTC)

- 99% of the entries are for artists with an occasional artist's studio, or book publisher. The ratio is similar to National Gallery of Art artist ID or Museum of Modern Art artist ID or Museo del Prado artist ID or Musée d'Orsay artist ID and others we use. The word "actor" is very confusing, if it must be changed it should be truncated to "Nationalmuseum Sweden ID", when I see "artist ID" I expect to see Max von Sydow (Q203215). Also peek at Maria Elisabeth Coyet (Q62118567) where a value is being added to people depicted in images that isn't a valid entry. I already corrected a few, but left this one as an example. I contacted the person adding them, but they have not responded. We need to figure out a search that would find invalid entries and delete them automatically. --RAN (talk) 23:59, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
- I changed it to "Nationalmuseum Sweden ID", since it is used for many things, mostly people, it can also be "Nationalmuseum Sweden person ID". --RAN (talk) 06:01, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
