Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Architecture, Structures and Construction

Architecture, structural engineering, and construction domains continue to heavily rely on traditional approaches and computational techniques. While such classical methods have proven to be appropriate for building design and construction, they often require extensive resources and expertise. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offer highly efficient data-driven solutions that not only overcome some of the key limitations of classical approaches, but have been successfully adopted by parallel industries. This Special Issue aims at showcasing the tremendous potential of integrating AI and ML in architecture, structures, and construction applications from research, industry, stakeholders, and outreach perspectives.

Participating journal

Architecture, Structures and Construction is a platform for synergizing the disciplines of architecture, building and structural engineering.
