Recent Advances of the Norwegian Operations Research Society

Participating journal: Computational Management Science

For many decades, Operations Research (OR) has attracted the interest of researchers from various disciplines such as applied mathematics, computer science, economics and engineering. Since 2014, NORS has been a meeting place for the Norwegian Operations Research community. The members carry out research, covering a wide range of modelling techniques and solution methods. While some members focus more on theoretical developments, others focus on applying quantitative methods to real-world problems.

This collection showcases some of the recent work of the members of the Norwegian Operations Research community and their international collaborators. The papers cover a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) contributions within exact methods, heuristics, forecasting and application to problem from various industries, such as energy, logistics and production.

Participating journal

Computational Management Science is an international journal within all areas of operations research, emphasizing computational aspects.
