Abstract
Moral theories refer to a set of normative rules formulated to guide human action, to do good and avoid bad, to do what is right and reject what is wrong, and rationally justifying such rules. Throughout history there have been many different moral theories (i.e., coherent systems of concepts, methodologies, and arguments to justify different courses of action).
