Abstract

In today’s world, Classic Bluetooth and BLE are being widely used in Home and Industrial Automation Applications. It is very important to evaluate and analyze both technologies in terms of current and energy consumption. Addition of these Classic Bluetooth and BLE technologies in specific domains as required can help in reliable bursts of data transmissions and reducing the current and energy consumption respectively which is an important factor in automation industries. Hence, it is significant to analyze and compare the overall current and energy consumption for both the technologies.
