Okay so bit of an unhinged ask perhaps but my reblog blog is shadowbanned so my tags never show up for people, but I had tagged your piece EXIT ONLY as having Mirror's Edge concept art vibes (as highest praise as it is my favorite game in existence) and then I scrolled down and saw another of your pieces has. A Mirror's Edge reference as the body of the post. And I'm kinda having an excited moment about it haha PLEASE no pressure to publish this I just wanted to let you know (and also that I adore your work and am already invested in everyone)

but to actually answer the question, yes!!!! i had a bunch of mirror’s edge screenshots pulled up for reference, that game has some of the best lighting of urban environments ever, imo. (slight tangent, but i can’t stop recommending Jacob Geller’s video essays about games, including this one on mirror’s edge specifically. he is so smart)
the Kaden image is unrelated to the game, i was just listening to these two songs while drawing it, since the picture was for my playlist cover :D
