Joseph Howell’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s a scene with LaWanda Page in this movie that’s both incredibly racist and more proof that Eddie Murphy was right about white people and haunted houses. Also, I’m amazed this wasn’t an Italian production, because so much of it (bright lighting, gore, dope practical effects and behavior and dialogue that feels alien) gives the vibe of the kind of thing Lucio Fulci would’ve made post Manhattan Baby.
