Jon Krawczysnski: Rudy Gobert: “I think the last few games, the last few weeks, we let the frustration get to us, and we kind of got distracted from who we are. Tonight was a good reminder of – individually, collectively – who we are. And now it’s about being consistent with it and never forgetting it again.”

Law Murray: Ivica Zubac on Dream Shake vs Rudy Gobert: “Not surprised by it… When I was younger, I played a lot in the post… I still worked on it, even if teams didn’t use it. I was just waiting for my moment.”

Rudy Gobert's body language was addressed after Timberwolves loss in Toronto
Jon Krawczynski: Last night’s game was ugly. The body language from Rudy Gobert was addressed postgame, from what I was told. Often times I think too much is made of player meetings and things like that. They happen all the time, and discussion was needed after that game. Will see how the Wolves respond on Sunday.

Donte DiVincenzo: Rudy Gobert's approach is unmatched
Donte DiVincenzo: “You don’t know Rudy until you play with him. Rudy is the anchor of our defense, and a lot of stuff revolves around him. But to your point about his approach, Rudy’s approach is unmatched — daily. His preparation, his commitment to his body, getting ready for a game — it’s really cool to see that. And then, when you’re on the court with him, you don’t realize how big he is. I threw a couple of lobs to him already early in the season, and I thought, ‘There’s no way he’s going to catch it.’ But he goes up and brings it down. It’s little things like feeling him out and knowing how to make the game easy for him. If you make it easy for him, he’ll make it easy for you on the defensive end. That’s what I’ve learned playing with him.”
Julius Randle decided the NBA Sundays affair with a buzzer-beating three-pointer to highlight a 35-point display. “That’s amazing for him. He works really hard. We trust him in those moments,” said Gobert, “We know he is capable of making tough and clutch shots. He’s done it in his whole career. Just another weapon for us.”

Jon Krawczynski: Rudy Gobert on being pulled late before the last defensive possession: “I’m pretty good on that end of the floor, and I live for those moments. It’s what I do best. I was frustrated for sure, but decisions. Coach made decisions and we’re living with that.”
Christopher Hine: Anthony Edwards on Rudy Gobert’s offense and dishing him the ball: “Rudy been working. It’s a difference when you see people work. Like you start to trust them a little more. You make that pass. He been working, and we have no reason to not trust him.”
