Students may submit applications for the following fellowships:
Frank Sturm Memorial Fellowship
AU Presidential Graduate Research Fellowships
The Graduate School accepts nominations for the following awards:

| Merriwether Fellowship | February 15th |
- The recipient must be enrolled as a doctoral student for the upcoming academic year.
- There are no limitations on the field of study.
- A recipient is expected to be devoted to graduate study full time and may hold an assistantship or another fellowship
- Each department may nominate only one student for the Merriwether Fellowship

| Outstanding Graduate Student Awards | February 15th | - Each department or school is invited to nominate one outstanding graduate student at the master’s/educational specialist level and another at the doctoral level

| Distinguished Dissertation Awards | April 15th | - Each college/school is invited to select and nominate up to three students (in each award category as appropriate)

| Master’s Thesis Awards | July 30th | - Each college/school is invited to select and nominate up to three students (in each award category as appropriate)

| C.L. “Shot” Senn Fellowship | September 15th | - Is enrolled in the Auburn University Graduate School
- Has a minimum college GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Is a former Auburn University Division I athlete whose NCAA eligibility has ended
| $1,000 |
| Williams Graduate Awards | September 15th | - Must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in the Auburn University Graduate School
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Preference is given to students with a financial need as verified by the Office of Financial Aid. However, if a student with financial need cannot be identified, then the financial need criterion may be waived
- Preference will be given to military veterans who have served a minimum of four years on active duty and received an honorable discharge
