Oh, I didn't know that existed, thanks. But there's another different here: I maintain the Arch AUR repo and Gentoo overlay, while I have nothing to do with the official Fedora package. So I can't control if/when it gets updated on new releases. I'll wait until this is back up and then I'll add the link, but with an extra explanation that this is externally maintained. |
Hey again two years later. It seems like Fedora now has a package browser up and running but on a different URL, so I updated the commit to reflect that. |
Nice, thanks. Unfortunately, it seems no one has updated the package for 0.0.6, as it's still at 0.0.5. (And if the "orphan" is to be believed, there's no active maintainer at the moment.) I don't think advertising an outdated version here would be the best idea. |
Tried to send an Bugreport: Hi there, To add the Link to the Fedora package of 'xoreos-tools' they must get updated to 0.0.6. If its possible to upgrade the package so then Pull request for the Link could be merged. Thanks :) Best regards But if i want to send out the report it refuses it because its not active :( |
Yeah, like I said, orphaned, the package in Fedora has no maintainer. From what I understand, you can build the package yourself using the spec file here: https://github.com/xoreos/xoreos-tools/tree/master/dists/fedora . But that hasn't been updated for a while either, so might be outdated for current Fedora. No idea, that's not a distribution I know much of. |
I quickly compiled xoreos-tools on an new fresh install of Fedora 42, and it works! :) rpm files for 0.0.6 sucessfully created and installed |
Package view is currently down but I believe this should be the correct link :'). Feel free to hold until this can be verified.
