🚧 rough first draft only

View the RFC in HTML. Once reviewed with enough feedback and approved by the core team, those changes will go live on the Wagtail Roadmap.

7.1* and 7.2*: Provisional version numbers. See our Release schedule for more info.

I’ve just added all the items that are under consideration so far, as "TBC" for the ones that are under consideration but don’t have enough details / enough of a plan (yet). Feedback welcome though this is too rough for a complete review.

Hey. I'd love to see the block settings idea come to life. Currently we're got an "advanced settings" block that users can optionally add to things, as if the settings were content. But being able to show in the UI that there's a seprate "tab" (or whatever) for these advanced tweaks would be great.

The Block Settings feature is something we have been wondering for quite a bit of time, please implement asap if possible
