Benerator is a fine tool to generate test data into a database which you can use to load test your application. With couch4ben you can use Benerator against CouchDB. couch4ben is essentially a port of mongo4ben for couchdb. This is a work in progress. Couch4Ben currently uses a fork of Benerator that is available here https://github.com/vishalmanohar/databene-benerator
