Before installing please notice
- This will replace your Kingdoms.exe with a new one, but that's not a problem since the launcher is compatible with vanilla and has only enhancements.
- Beware it comes with Keys.tdf so if you got customized Keys.tdf, you may want to backup it before copying the files. Keys.tdf comes with TA:K Enhanced because the original game doesn't come with MoveFight command bound, and the RetrieveSquad command in the number keys (0..9) conflicts with the new SelectBuilding command.
- If your antivirus gets triggered about Kingdoms.exe, don't worry, it won't cause any harm to your system, so you can whitelist it. It thinks Kingdoms.exe is suspicious because of the method I chose to apply the enhancements into the game (Kingdoms.icd). If you're still in doubt whether it's safe to use it or not, you can always see the actual code and verify yourself it doesn't do anything else than applying the changes I describe.
Installation
- Download TAK Enhanced v1.3.5.zip
- Unzip files into your TA:K root directory (default is C:\Cavedog\Kingdoms)
Troubleshooting
- If you get any problems during the use of my software, try a fresh install (if you came from older versions). If it persists, open an issue here in GitHub or contact me via Discord DeeKay#3610 and I'll analyze your case.
- While I analyze, I'll ask you to disable the feature you're trying to use. I'll also try to make the software to report what exactly caused the error, so you can disable the broken feature for a while, at least.
