== What is Cloud Foundry?
 
Cloud Foundry is an open platform-as-a-service (PaaS). The system supports
multiple frameworks, multiple application infrastructure services and
deployment to multiple clouds.

== What is this component

The tests repo contains the basic verification tests used to quickly validate that
a release is functional. It has a position in the overall vcap namespace at
vcap/tests and uses the git submodule mechanism to be mounted in that location. 
The code is exposed via the vcap-tests repo.
