To start the application open the entrypoint index.html in the folder Registration login. The chat room requires socket.io to be installed. To install it, type in "npm install socket.io --save" from the command line. To start using the chat room change directory to chat-folder from the command line. Next, type "node backend.js" to initialize it. Either manually type "http://localhost:8080" in a browser or click the "ChartChat" button on the mainPage.
